More on DST

One of the reasons given for the extending DST was cost/energy savings. Given the current financial situation, does this help drive employment?

Someone has to change all the software code and change the clocks that aren’t automated. But it also takes individuals time and effort to change their own clocks that aren’t automated. Clocks that are automated, but with outdated programming, will need to be replaced depending on the owner’s tolerance for manual changes. This also drives additional sales which may help the economy. But fewer people will be willing to spend this money since finances are tight.

I could go on, but you get the point.

Hooray!!!

Now, can we please keep it this way?
